Siesta Key Area Recreation

If you like to spend time in the outdoors, there is an abundance of things to do on and off the Key to keep you active. In addition to walking the beach, and biking, there is boating, fishing, parasailing, jet skiing, golf, and tennis.

When making your room reservations, you will find that many of the accommodations have their own tennis courts. The Siesta Key Public Beach also has lighted tennis courts that are free to the public.

If your idea of a perfect vacation includes fishing, then Siesta Key is the spot for you. Whether you want to fish in the bay or the Gulf, from a pier or in a boat, the fishing holes are as varied as the type of fish you will catch. If you want to rent a boat or take an excursion with a captain, you will find a day on the water as breathtaking as catching the “big one”.
